Lady Trojans Basketball Tournament Champions!

Congratulations to our Lady Trojans Girls Basketball Team for winning the Lady Mapletown Christmas Tournament!  Hayley Gibson was named tournament MVP.  This is a Great accomplishment for this very Young Squad and expectations are very high with these ladies…Great Job Coach Sutherland & Coach Wright!!! 

Niko & Lee All-State Team.

The PA football News Coaches have selected the Class 1A All-State Team for the 2024 Season.  The California Trojans have place two players on this most prestigious Team.  Niko Georgagis has been named 1st team Middle Linebacker on Defense.  Lee Qualk was named 2nd team Running back on Offense.  Congratulations to two of the BEST to ever do it for THE CAL FB Fam…now the State of PA knows their impact as well.

The Boys MS Basketball Game for today (1-7-24) has been cancelled due to our opponent AG being closed for school. 

Girls Basketball game 1/6/25

The girls basketball game scheduled for 1/6/25 has been cancelled. The rescheduled date is pending. All school athletic activities for 1/6/25 are also cancelled due to the weather related school closing.

MS Boys Basketball 12/19/2024

Today's MS Boys Basketball Game has been moved to the HS Gym.  Game time is still 4pm with a JV game to follow.  

Cal Trojans Football team Finishes 2024 season with an 8-4 Record.

The Cal Trojans Football team finished the 2024 season with an 8-4 record.  This was the second consecutive year that the Team made it to the 2nd Rd of The WPIAL Playoffs.  With the JV & MS Football Team finishing the 2024 season undefeated and 16 players moving up from the MS the future is very Bright for the Trojans.  This Season also provided some landmark achievements with Lee Qualk -rushing/scoring  for a WPIAL leading 2145 yards and 36 TD's for a total of 232 points ( this scoring was 6th best overall in WPIAL History).   Lee also was the 2nd leading rusher in the State!  The Trojans also placed 8 players on the Tri-County South All-Conference Team:SR-Vincent Manzella-SR-Lee Qualk-JR-Aidan Keyes-JR-Landon Ambercrombie- SR-Christian Ross-JR-Noah Layhue-SR Niko Georgagis-& SR Matthew Miller.Receiving Honorable Mention were:JR-Logan Hartley & Soph-Chase ShemanskyConratulations to the 2024 California Trojan Football Team! Go Trojans! 

Cross Country Runners Receive All-Section Honors

Cross Country team members Carter Kent, Lucy Meiss, and Charles Meiss were selected as First-Team All-Section runners by a vote of the coaches in WPIAL Division II, Section 5! Additionally, Niamh McClaflin received an Honorable Mention. Well done to all!

WPIAL 2nd Rd Playoff Game.

The Trojans will play Clairton HS this Friday, November 8th at 7pm.  The game will be played at Charleroi HS.  Tickets can be purchased online through https:gofan.co/event.  Tickets can also be purchased at the gate for $7.  No STUDENT Tickets will be sold at the Gate.    Go Trojans!
