Girls Track Team Clinches Section Championship, Carter Frank Breaks School Record
The girls' track team secured back-to-back section championships with a 64–32 win over West Greene, completing their first undefeated regular season since 2017.Leading the way, Hayley Gibson won the shot put with a throw of 31'2". Morgan Ross captured the long jump with a leap of 15'9", while Peyton won the discus with a throw of 75'5". Lila Mitchell had a strong day in the jumps, winning both the triple jump (31'9") and high jump (4'6"). McKenna Klima took first in the 100 high hurdles (19.65). The 4x100 meter relay team of Meadow Meier, Aubrey Cellurale, and McKenna Klima also earned a first-place finish in 54.69.On the boys side, the team defeated West Greene 70–21 to finish section competition with a 6–1 record. Carter Frank highlighted the meet by winning the discus and setting a new school record with a throw of 131'8".Due to storms, the meet was shortened and the 3200 meter run, 4x400 meter relays, javelin, and boys 200 meter dash were not contested.

Carter Kent Breaks School Record
Carter Kent broke his own school record in the 800m run at the Chartiers-Houston Track & Field Invitational. His time of 1:59.25 is not only a new Trojan record, but also smashed the Chartiers-Houston Invitational record by more than seven seconds. Girls Track Clinches Playoff Spot as Girls and Boys Sweep Charleroi
The girls' track team defeated Charleroi 81-23 to remain undefeated and in sole possession of first place in Section 6-AA. With the win, the team has officially clinched a playoff spot and now has an opportunity to secure an undefeated regular season and the section title on Tuesday against West Greene. Top performers included Addison Frank, who won the triple jump with a leap of 34'0", Haley Gibson, who took first in the shot put with a throw of 30'10", Morgan Ross, who placed first in the long jump at 15'3", and Lila Mitchell, who won the high jump, clearing 4'10". Peyton Sunderman added a first-place finish in the discus with a throw of 69'7". On the track, Aubrey Cellurale was a double winner, taking first in the 200m (29.72) and 100m (14.24). The 400m relay team of Meadow Meier, Aubrey Cellurale, Addison Frank, and Morgan Ross also earned a first-place finish with a time of 54.26. The girls are now 6-0 in the section. Girls Track Team Sweeps to Remain Undefeated, Boys Split
The track teams had a strong meet against Waynesburg and Bentworth. The girls remained undefeated, improving to 5-0 on the season with wins over Waynesburg (75-66) and Bentworth (80-57), while the boys went 1-1 on the week, falling to Waynesburg (53-88) but winning against Bentworth (97-41) to move to 4-1 overall. Leading the way for the girls were Morgan Ross, who took first in the 200 (28.76) and long jump (14'10"), and Addison Frank, who won both the triple jump (31'0.25") and javelin (87'2"). Additional first-place finishes came from Peyton Sunderman in discus (75'3"), Hayley Gibson in shot put (31'5"), Lila Mitchell in high jump (4'6"), and the 4x100 relay team of Meadow Meier, Aubrey Cellurale, Addison Frank, and Morgan Ross (53.76). The Trojan Track & Field teams delivered a strong performance Friday night at the California Twilight Invitational held at Trojan Stadium, bringing home two team trophies along with numerous individual medals.The girls' team placed 2nd overall out of 12 competing teams. Gold medalists included Addison Frank, who won the triple jump with a leap of 30’0”, and Morgan Ross, who captured the long jump title with a mark of 15’3”. Ross also added a silver medal in the 100-meter dash, finishing in 13.70 seconds.Additional silver medal performances for the girls included the 4x100 relay team of McKenna Klima, Aubrey Cellurale, Addison Frank, and Morgan Ross, which finished in 54.73, as well as the 4x400 relay team of Macie Huba, Nora Shen, Aubrey Cellurale, and Giana Smith with a time of 5:29.0. Carter Kent and Charles Meiss each earned First Team Cross Country All-Section honors for WPIAL Division 2, Section 5, as voted on by the coaches of the section. Additionally, Carter was selected for the First Team All-Area Herald-Standard Cross Country Team.

Carter Kent represented California at the PIAA Cross Country Championships in Hershey on Saturday. Competing in the Class A race, he placed 86th out of 257 runners with a time of 18:36. Lady Trojans in Consolation Game to go to State!
The Lady Trojans VB Team lost a close 5 game set to Serra Catholic HS on Wednesday Night at Peters Twp HS Arena. The girls were down 2-0 and they went to work on their comeback. They tied it 2-2 which earned the a 5th set win the match and get to the WPIAL Championship Game & an automatic Birth into the PIAA Tournament but they came up short. Tremendous effort and now they take on Frazier in the Consolation Game with a chance to earn a spot in the PIAA Tournament. The game is this Saturday ( 11/1) at 12pm at Charleroi HS.
