The Trojans had an impressive showing at the Section 6-AA Track & Field Championships held at Trojan Stadium, earning a total of 33 medals, including 9 golds and 13 silvers.
Ella Neil captured two gold medals in the triple jump (34’9”) and long jump (15’11.5”), along with a silver in the high jump (5’0.5”).
Carter Kent earned two golds, winning the 800 meters (2:14.51) and the 1600 meters (4:44.20)
Morgan Ross claimed gold in the 100 meters (13.14) and a silver in the 4x100 meter relay alongside Ella Fike, Lauren Hartley, and Addison Frank.
Ella Fike also won silver in the 300-meter hurdles (54.17).
Niamh McClaflin took gold in the 3200 meters (11:14.2) and silver in the 1600 meters (4:46.64).
Lee Qualk brought home gold in the long jump (21’5”), silver in the 100 meters (11.23), and silver in the 4x100 relay (45.45) with teammates Gerald Williams, Alan Dennis, and Christian Ross.
Ross also earned silver in the triple jump (40’5.5”) and set a new school record with a gold medal in the javelin (158’3”).
Haley Gibson took gold in the shot put (32’7.5”).
Olivia Lenkey earned silver in the discus (73’3”).
Lucia Meiss took silver in the 3200 meters (16:01.15).
Giana Smith won silver in the 400 meters (1:06.48).
Matt Miller placed second in the discus (116’6”).
Andrew Typovsky claimed silver in the javelin (144’1”).
The Boys 4x400 Relay team of Kent, Qualk, McClaflin, and Aidin Keyes earned silver medals with a time of 3:44.87.
